This page explains what information the On Demand Dental website collects, why, and which outside services help us run the site. It covers this website only. Information you share during your dental care is handled separately as part of your patient record.

What we collect

Appointment requests. When you use our appointment request form, we collect your name, phone number, email address (optional), the type of visit you're interested in, and which language version of the form you used.

Calls, emails, and messages. If you call, email, or message us directly, we keep the contact details and information you choose to share so we can respond.

Website usage. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: for example, which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located (city or region level), the type of device and browser, how visitors found the site, and a few actions such as tapping our phone number, switching languages, or submitting the appointment form. We do not send the contents of the appointment form (your name, phone, or email) to Google Analytics.

Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Please don't send medical details through the website

The appointment form only asks for what we need to contact you and schedule a visit. It is not a secure medical channel, so please don't send health conditions, medications, insurance details, or other medical information through the website. We'll discuss anything health-related with you privately by phone or in person.

How we use it

• To respond to your request, schedule and confirm appointments, and communicate with you.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.
• To keep the website running and secure.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Services that help us run this website

We use a small number of outside services. They receive information only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Netlify hosts this website and processes appointment form submissions, which are then sent to our practice email.
• Google provides Google Analytics (website usage, described above), our practice email (Gmail), and the map shown on our booking page. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.
• Teledentix provides our patient registration portal. After you request an appointment, we offer a link to complete your registration there. Information you enter in the portal is handled within Teledentix, not on this website.
• Instagram and Google Maps links open those services in a new page, where their own privacy policies apply.

We may also share information if required by law.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to tell visits apart and measure how the site is used. The map on our booking page may also set Google cookies. We don't run advertising on this website. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally without these cookies.

How long we keep information

We keep appointment requests and messages only as long as reasonably needed to schedule and follow up with you and to keep ordinary business records. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in our Analytics account.
